LumenVox collaborates on voice biometric speech attendant with Interactive Northwest

Contact center solutions developer Interactive Northwest (INI) has announced a new partnership with LumenVox to work on a voice biometrics-powered Interactive Speech Attendant (ISA).

The new platform is intended to replace Nuance’s automated attendant solutions, which were discontinued in late 2019.

INI’s Interactive Speech Attendant is powered by LumenVox Automated Speech Recognizer (ASR) and is designed to deliver a natural user experience that promotes higher customer satisfaction and better corporate branding, according to the announcement.

LumenVox has recently been named the top biometrics vendor by Speech Technology Magazine for the effectiveness of its algorithms. The company also joined the Cisco marketplace in September and partnered with Austrian dispatch company fms/Austrosoft last month.

Now, LumenVox biometric algorithms will be integrated within INI’s Interactive Speech Attendant.

ISA’s features a web-based administration interface that allows operators to customize the handling of inbound calls, as well as the configuration of nicknames and aliases, department and location-based transfers, business hours logic, alert messaging, and more.

“CX-focused organizations understand there is only one chance to make a first impression,” said INI President Danette Craig. “INI’s Interactive Speech Attendant enables companies to realize the best caller experience with a natural, user-friendly interface all while automating the front desk function.”

INI’s Interactive Speech Attendant is already available via INI, LumenVox, and Avaya Channel Partners.
