Socure welcomes former Auth0 exec to lead digital ID technology efforts
Socure introduced former Auth0 executive Rong Cao as its new Senior Vice President of Technology. Cao, who brings more than 15 years of industry expertise, will lead Socure’s digital ID technology stack efforts, which includes growing the company’s Socure ID+ identity verification platform. She will also be leading Socure’s efforts in compliance, security, and quality control.
Cao previously served as engineering VP of digital ID provider Auth0, and technology VP and chief architect for engineering firm Nielsen. In addition to this track record, Cao also has a patent-pending for a mobile device single action authentication solution. She holds a Master’s in Computer Science from The University of Houston.
“Rong deciding to join us in a very competitive market is a testament to our outstanding tech culture as we continue to attract top talent,” said Johnny Ayers, CEO of Socure. “As one of the top identity technologists currently working in our industry, we are extremely proud and excited to welcome Rong to our leadership team.”
According to Socure, Cao’s appointment brings on board an executive who has vast experience in software, big data, AI, machine learning, as well as cloud computing and enterprise software.
“I am excited to join Socure and become part of the company’s mission to eliminate identity fraud while verifying 100 percent of good IDs on the internet,” said Rong Cao, SVP of Technology. “Throughout the interview process I was truly inspired by the team’s passion, collaboration and dedication. I am very much looking forward to becoming part of this award-winning culture.”
Socure launched an omnichannel solution for ID document and biometric checks in October.
