Indian IT firm supplies biometric time clocks to banks

Micro Technologies (India) Ltd., a leading global developer and marketer of security devices and solutions announced that it has received orders from India’s largest banks for the supply of its Micro Access Control System (Micro ACS) for authenticating persons entering bank premises.

Micro ACS incorporates biometrics devices that verify persons by hand, eye, fingerprint or voice.

Micro ACE provides a biometric time clock that assures that no employee can punch in for another, which eliminates time fraud, theft and payroll discrepancies. Because every person’s biometric characteristics is unique, a biometric time clock provides a quick, accurate, and reliable way to record punch-in and punch-out for each employee.

Along with Micro ACS, Indian banks have also opted to install the firm’s Micro Under Vehicle Surveillance System (Micro UVSS) for carrying out security checks on vehicles.

“We are glad to provide both our Micro Access Control System and Micro UVSS products to India’s largest banks,” said V Geetha, Northern India Regional Head at Micro Technologies (India) Ltd. “our Micro Access control system has many useful features and functional capabilities that not only provide robust security but also ensure authentic access to bank premises.”
