Industry vet Greg Sarrail joins Lumidigm as VP Solutions Business Development

Lumidigm has announced that Greg Sarrail has joined the company as Vice President of Solutions Business Development.

In this role, Sarrail will focus on developing new business and forming strategic partnerships with organizations seeking authentication solutions.

“At Lumidigm, we are highly focused on expanding our biometrics business to offer comprehensive authentication solutions where our multispectral imaging will continue to simultaneously offer security and convenience in the critical role of verifying user identity,” Mark Shermetaro, Lumidigm CEO said. “The appointment of Greg Sarrail further strengthens Lumidigm’s commitment to our strategic partnerships and sales channels as we expand our customer base in identity and access management.”

A veteran of the security industry, Sarrail spent the last six years at HID Global where he led enterprise sales for HID Global’s Identity Assurance division throughout the Americas. He was also a founding member of NEC Solutions America’s  Identity Management practice where he successfully built and managed the sales and marketing of authentication solutions.

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, Lumidigm recent announced that its V-Series multispectral fingerprint sensor has been embedded in to Innometriks’ newest Rhino Touch reader, set to be introduced at the ISC West show in Last Vegas, set to take place April 10-12, 2013.

Additionally, the biometric systems at the ports of Antwerp and Zeebrugge in Belgium are being replaced with Lumidigm V-Series multispectral fingerprint readers.
