LaserLock appoints Giles Kyser to COO post

 

LaserLock has announced the addition of a new Chief Operating Officer to its team: Col. Giles Kyser.

“I am pleased to welcome Giles Kyser to LaserLock Technologies,” Neil Alpert, Chief Executive Officer said. “With several recent successes, it was imperative for the Company to round out our executive management team to handle the rapid growth we anticipate in the coming months.”

Kyser comes to LaserLock from Selex Galileo, where he was CEO. Selex Galileo is a defense supplier owned by Finmeccania. Before Selex, Kyser served in the U.S. Marine Corps. HE’s also been a senior executive at MIC Industries and President of One Honor Solutions.

“Under the leadership of our Chief Executive Officer Neil Alpert, another senior management position is now place.  Giles’ experience will help the Company move to the next level,” Michael Sonnenreich, Chairman of the Board said. “With this team, LaserLock will continue moving forward as a premium provider of anti-counterfeiting and authentication solutions.”

Reported previously, LaserLock recently filed a provisional patent application outlining a system for authentication using a three-factor approach, which includes facial recognition from a mobile device.

In February, LaserLock filed a provisional patent application for a “Characteristic Verification System,” which also used existing technology in smartphones to capture bother “overt and covert anti-counterfeiting measures to verify the identity of a person performing an action.” 

LaserLock also recently announced a facial recognition solution to determine the ages of players on internet gaming platforms using a similar system.
