Suprema to unveil new USB fingerprint scanners at Cartes

 

Suprema has announced that it will launch a new set of USB fingerprint scanners and an embedded OEM module.

In particular, the company says it will unveil its new BioMini Slim, BioMini Combo and SFU-S20 at Cartes 2013, taking place next week from Nov. 19-21 in Paris, France.

According to the company, BioMini Slim is a solution for PC based identity access management solution, which uses Suprema’s 500dpi optical sensor and LFD (Live Finger Detection).

BioMini Slim has received both FBI-PIV and mobile ID FAP 20 certifications. This unit also offers a software SDK platform.

BioMini Combo is a fingerprint scanner which provides dual-authentication security using contact smart card as well as fingerprint technology for desktop PC and network environments.

The latest OEM fingerprint scanner module, the SFU-S20, is designed for various applications such as ATMs, kiosks, mobile-POS and handheld terminals.
