Morpho (Safran) announced it has named Olivier Méaux executive vice president of the company’s digital security and authentication division.

He replaces Jacques Pantin, who has been appointed to special advisor in charge of cybersecurity.

Méaux began his career in 1995 at New York-based bank, BNP Paribas, before subsequently leaving the company to join Thomson Multimédia as vice president of digital systems and services.

Three years later, Méaux joined French television network France 2 where he served as vice president of business development and telecommunications.

He joined Orange in 2002, where he held successive management positions in sales and business development, with a particular focus on digital services.

“Olivier Méaux brings to our company a solid experience in the IT and digital sectors, both in France and internationally,” said Anne Bouverot, CEO of Morpho. “His proven expertise in
digital innovation will help energize and leverage our strengths in this market, a strong growth opportunity for Morpho.”

Previously reported, Morpho (Safran) released an integrated digital trust solution spanning the entire range of identity usage, including identity checks, authentication, transaction security and secure archiving.
