FST Biometrics acknowledged for its biometric visual identification solution

FST Biometrics was recently acknowledged for its IMID Access 4.0 product in the 2017 Security Industry Association (SIA) New Product Showcase during ISC West and in Security Today’s Govies awards program.

IMID Access 4.0, which became commercially available last month, uses a fusion of biometrics-based technologies for identification-oriented applications, including access control, employee time-and-attendance and retail consumer experience.

FST Biometrics received the SIA award for Best User Authentication, Identification, Credentialing and Management Product and the Govies award for best product in the “Access Control – Biometrics” category.

“We’re proud to see that efforts to develop our product carefully, in tandem with innovative cutomers, has led to a mature product that is ready for the mass market,” commented Arie Melamed, FST Biometrics CMO. “This type of industry recognition demonstrates that we have successfully overcome barriers to broad adoption of biometric visual identification.”
