Taiwanese OEM introduces smartphone with FPC and Precise Biometrics technology

 

A Taiwanese OEM has launched a smartphone model for the Russian market featuring Fingerprint Cards’ (FPC) FPC1035 sensor and Precise Biometrics‘ Precise BioMatch Mobile.

Precise BioMatch Mobile is an algorithm solution for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices. The patented hybrid algorithm solution is optimized for small fingerprint sensors and platforms with limited processing power and memory space.

In related news, FPC announced that the new Xiaomi Mi 6 features its under glass sensor FPC1268, supporting FPC OneTouch, FPC 360Touch, FPC TouchNroll, FPC EvoTouch and FPC MoveTouch.

Earlier this week it was revealed that the recently launched smartphone from Indian OEM Micromax also features FPC touch sensor FPC1035 and Precise BioMatch Mobile.
