ENACOMM partners with DCI to pitch conversational banking

ENACOMM has announced a partnership with Data Center Inc. (DCI) to bring AI-based conversational banking to improve the customer experience, prevent financial fraud, and increase operational efficiency at community financial institutions.

DCI provides its iCore360 core banking software and related technologies to more than 350 U.S. financial institutions, according to the announcement.

“DCI always keeps an eye on the horizon in terms of new innovations, so we can help our customers gain a competitive advantage through technology,” said John Jones, CEO at DCI. “ENACOMM’s conversational banking solution meets the needs of financial institutions and the expectations of today’s consumers, even tech-savvy millennials.”

The technology allows bank customers and credit union members to conduct conversational banking through smartphones or digital assistants, with secure access granted in real time to conduct almost any financial transaction and retrieve transaction and account information.

ENACOMM cites a Pew Research survey showing 46 percent of Americans already use digital voice assistants, and a study from Mastercard and Mercator which indicates two out of three U.S. adults are comfortable interacting with banks and other large companies using natural language technology.

The agreement, which follows several other deals by ENACOMM, including most recently a partnership with FoneLogix, involves two reseller agreements, allowing the companies to offer each other’s technology.
