Veridium tapped by Swiss bank for biometric employee authentication
Veridium has announced that a multinational Swiss bank is deploying single-step multi-biometric authentication across its entire enterprise with the VeridiumID platform to seamlessly authenticate users to connect to Microsoft Active Directory and Citrix environments.
“Financial service companies around the globe need the strongest cybersecurity possible to protect confidential and valuable information, all while making their workforce more productive,” said James Stickland, CEO, Veridium. “This global customer win is a true testament to the need for stronger and more user-friendly authentication in the financial services industry. Using Veridium’s platform, the only things your employees need to protect their data are their smart phones and biometrics – cutting the total cost of ownership of traditional two-factor authentication (2FA) solutions while increasing security.”
Bank employees will log in from anywhere with only their username and biometrics using Veridium’s software-only platform, increasing security while also improving productivity by reducing password resets and help desk calls.
Veridium added Citrix Cloud and Microsoft AD support to its VeridiumID platform and Veridium Authenticator App in May, and was selected by Swedish bank Nordea to provide biometric authentication for employees in February.
