BioID partners with Keyp to secure digital identities

BioID announced its cooperation with Keyp to integrate BioID’s biometric authentication into the Keyp identity ecosystem. Keyp is Munich-based startup that develops an independent and decentralized infrastructure for digital identities.

Clients of the Keyp Identity Platform-as-a-Service can add face recognition with liveness detection for their processes simply by means of drag-and-drop. BioID’s liveness detection technology ensures user presence and detects spoofing using images, videos or avatars and can be used on any device and platform and doesn’t need special equipment.

“Keyp’s unique biometric-ready identity ecosystem is an excellent platform for companies to implement an IDAM solution that empowers their users throughout the whole identity lifecycle,” said BioID CEO Ho Chang. “We are happy to welcome Keyp … to join the growing community who are using our BioID Web Service.”

Last year BioID partnered with Microsoft Cloud Germany and Deutsche Telekom to host its biometrics-as-a-service solution in the data center of T-Systems to further improve data security and privacy.
