Essiell integrates Regula document verification tech into compliance package

 

Travel money specialists Essiell has formed a strategic partnership with Regula that will see Essiell’s Watchman 1.0 compliance package integrated with Regula document verification technology to automatically recognize worldwide identity documents, support anti-money laundering and customer due diligence requirements and perform instantaneous nonstop transaction monitoring.

Regula is a leading manufacturer of expert devices for authenticating documents, banknotes and securities.

“The partnership with Regula represents a powerful opportunity for Essiell to build on its unrivalled compliance offering using Regula expertise in identity document reading and authenticity verification technology,” says Essiell CEO Bjorn Larsson. “I am excited about the potential this new partnership will open up for both Essiell and Regula, as we focus our energies towards providing a broader range of customers with industry-leading compliance and identity checking solutions.”

Regula recently released an updated version of its Document Reader SDK for mobile iOS and Android platforms.
