Evident has been named a winner of the 2019 Fortress Cyber Security Awards in the Authentication and Identity category. The annual awards program presented by Business Intelligence Group recognizes companies on the front lines of cybersecurity.

Jumio and iovation were also award winners in the Authentication and Identity category.

Evident’s Identity Assurance Platform leverages artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and facial recognition technologies to provide fast and seamless identity and credential verification services.

“With the influx of new data protection regulations and the increasing cost of data breaches, companies are determined to find solutions to get the verified personal information they need without having to handle sensitive data,” says Evident CEO, David Thomas. “Evident is solving the most complex identification problems for high-volume businesses with sensitive applications by verifying millions of attributes in a secure and efficient way.”

“We are so proud to name Evident as a winner in the Fortress Cyber Security Awards program,” adds Maria Jimenez, Chief Nominations Officer, Business Intelligence Group. “It was clear to our expert judges that the entire group of innovators and innovations are the tip of the spear helping to prepare, defend and respond to the growing threat of cyber attacks. Congratulations to the entire team.”

Last month the identity and credential verification platform provider announced it had raised $20 million in Series B financing.
