Integrated Biometrics opens office in South Africa

Integrated Biometrics has expanded its international sales organization and opened its first South African office. The company also named founding partner Jim Seaborn Vice President of Business Development for Africa and the Middle East.

Seaborn is expected to drive and meet demand for mobile biometric enrollment and identification in both region’s financial services, healthcare, law enforcement and government sectors. He has appointed Robert Jones as Sales Manager for the Africa region, responsible for sales and outreach activities across the continent.

“The global need for identity management continues to soar,” explains David Gerulski, Integrated Biometrics EVP. “Jim and Robert will help our regional partners address the growing popularity for IB’s products while maintaining the highest levels of support our customers demand and deserve. They are key to helping partners continue to develop amazing, innovative solutions to provide identity and improve security and everyday life for people throughout Africa and the Middle East.”

Integrated Biometrics’ international team will be at ID4Africa next week in Johannesburg. The company has actively participated in the annual meeting since its inception in 2015. Biometric Update has been the official journalist of the annual meeting since 2016.
