SecureAuth updates Identity Platform with IT environment flexibility and dynamic perimeter check

SecureAuth has enhanced its hybrid access management solution to enable organizations to deploy the same identity security capabilities in the cloud, on-premises, or in a hybrid architecture. Other enhancements to the SecureAuth Identity Platform, formerly known as SecureAuth IdP, include a simplified administration experience and the introduction of a dynamic perimeter adaptive risk check.

Enterprises can also authenticate users from a mobile device with biometric MFA, including face or fingerprint biometrics, using the SecureAuth Identity Platform.

The SecureAuth Intelligent Identity Cloud has also been announced, offering advanced security, user experience, analytics, administration, and extensibility functionality as an automated cloud service, according to the announcement. The service includes a range of adaptive authentication risk checks, taking a big-data approach to identity intelligence to increase identity security. More than 500 customers have been using the service to process more than 5 million transactions each day, and will be available to SecureAuth users at no extra cost.

“Organizations should be focusing on improving security, not wasting time and budget bending their deployment model needs to an access management solution,” says Justin Dolly, chief security officer and chief operating officer at SecureAuth. “SecureAuth Identity Platform meets the requirements of all organizations who seek a choice of deployment models, roll out administrative changes faster, while strengthening security.”

SecureAuth says its Identity Platform is the only access management solution with the same interface and capabilities for all network environments, giving enterprises deployment flexibility. Deployments can also evolve with infrastructure over time.

TESIS SYSware recently integrated BioID Web Service to add biometrics to its cloud enterprise MFA access management offering.
