VSBLTY announced today the addition of two veteran technology and client services executives to its top management team. Biometrics expert Matthew Pruitt, former chief solutions architect of NEC Corporation of America, becomes chief experience officer and Paul Rinaldi joins the company in the newly created position of senior client services director, retail.

“These two highly experienced and capable technology and client service executives further strengthen our senior management team and will enable us to accelerate and support our aggressive and successful growth strategy,” says Jay Hutton, VSBLTY Groupe co-founder and CEO.

Pruitt started with NEC in 2016 working with the firm’s technology portfolio to create solutions for federal and commercial customers. He previously served as an adjunct Professor of Biometrics at George Mason University, principal solutions architect for MorphoTrust USA (Idemia) and senior biometrics engineer at MITRE Corporation. Pruitt is the Chair of the Advances in Biometric Technology Working Group of the International Biometrics + Identity Association.

“We are delighted to add Matt Pruitt, a seasoned and respected thought leader in facial recognition,” says Hutton. “Our product, process and execution will be enhanced by Matt’s experience and leadership. With the market now maturing, we must execute flawlessly. Matt is critical to that endeavor.”

Rinaldi joins the company from Optika Display, where he was vice president of sales and operations and developed innovative interactive display product lines from concept to commercialization, including product management, logistics and go-to-market strategies.

VSBLTY Groupe recently partnered with “intelligent lighting” provider Energetika to integrate facial recognition and other security technologies with Smart City systems in Mexico City and other cities in Latin America.
