Shufti Pro has partnered with Drakemall to supply them with real-time online document verification services for KYC screening and fraud prevention in customer onboarding verification, the company announced.

E-commerce platforms are integrating identity verification solutions to reduce data breaches. By integrating Shufti Pro’s global identity verification solutions, companies will reduce the number of online fraud attempts, the company claims.

Drakemall is a loot box site that only people 18 and older can sign up to use and operates on a prepaid basis. Customers can add credit to their accounts, but Drakemall says there is a high account takeover fraud risk because it also supports credit cards, PayPal and other payment solutions.

Shufti Pro claims to verify over 3,000 identity documents from multiple countries around the world. Customers can use multiple identity documents such as ID card, passport, driving license or utility bill to verify their identity within 30 seconds during online registration.

“Before we connected the service of ShuftiPro, we used manual and selective verification. Now we haven’t any headache about KYC, because all processes are going automatically. This facilitated the work of the fraud manager and support department,” said the product owner.

“We are delighted to aid Drakemall in automating their KYC and fraud prevention processes,” said Victor Fredung, Shufti Pro’s CEO. “Shufti Pro helped them to address their several security needs with one solution. Our global KYC screening solution will provide an efficient risk cover along with a seamless onboarding experience to their customers.”
