IoTech Lab adds Keesing’s AuthentiScan trusted identity verification to KYC platform

IoTech Lab adds Keesing’s AuthentiScan trusted identity verification to KYC platform

IoTech Lab has partnered with Keesing Technologies to build up Solis, its Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checking platform, by providing a proper flow between risk-based approach rating analysis, transaction monitoring and reliable identity verification to prevent fraud, the company announced.

IoTech Lab will be integrating Keesing’s AuthentiScan which uses biometric checks and extensive ID document verification to authenticate customers in real time for a safe onboarding process.

“Through this partnership, we combine Keesing’s century long experience in fraud prevention with our state-of-the-art technology. This enables us to deliver best in class e-KYC solutions for our customers,” says Joris De Meulenaere, CEO of IoTech Lab.

Solis runs through KYC checks such as ID document verification through facial recognition technology, risk-based approach rating analysis and transaction monitoring.

Under the partnership, IoTech Lab clients can simplify and centralize customer identification and onboarding processes, meet AML compliance legislation and detect fraud.

“The software development powerhouse has a great understanding of the challenges organizations in the region struggle with. Their resources and professional experience within the region offer us an excellent way to set foot here with our identity verification solutions and to start new projects”, says Daniel Suess, Commercial Director at Keesing Technologies.

Keesing has signed a number of partnerships with the financial services industry. The agreement with IoTech Lab will help Keesing expand in the APAC region. Keesing claims to have the largest identity document database in the world with partners in more than 130 countries and solutions implemented in half of the world’s passports.

Keesing reported last year that almost 96 percent of bank branches in Norway were offering its facial biometric and document verification services rolled out in collaboration with Keesing partner Risk Information Group (RIG).
