Entrust Datacard and ForgeRock integrate for customer and employee identity and access management
A joint integration between Entrust Datacard’s high-assurance unified authentication management platform and the ForgeRock Identity Platform has been launched to provide consumer identity and access management.
The joint offering includes consumer and workforce authentication, which the companies say is the top-rated by analysts, with powerful access management to allow organizations to authenticate, authorize and orchestrate access control and manage identity systems at scale. Entrust Datacard becomes a certified technology partner to the ForgeRock Trust Network.
“Customers expect global enterprises to deliver an authentication experience that is at once frictionless and has a high level of security. Entrust Datacard’s authentication platform leads the pack in functionality and innovation, leveraging more than 25 years of digital identity expertise and more than 50 years of security innovation,” says James LaPalme, vice president and general manager for Authentication at Entrust Datacard. “Our platform has a wide range of authenticators and supports a diversity of use cases, including document signing and encryption. We’re excited to partner with ForgeRock for access management, making it easier for our customers to implement a world-class end-to-end Identity and Access and Access Management solution.”
Authentication with Entrust Datacard on the ForgeRock Identity Platform enables organizations to create more personalized and dynamic authentication journeys for customers and employees, and the integrated solution is being deployed by one of the world’s largest digital payment providers for a planned roll-out at scale to consumers around the world, according to the announcement.
Entrust Datacard launched an SSO Authentication and an Identity Proofing solution, each with biometrics for identity authentication and verification, a few months back.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Entrust Datacard into the ForgeRock Trust Network,” states ForgeRock Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development Ben Goodman. “ForgeRock has built the strongest certified technology partner network in the industry and Entrust Datacard’s growing portfolio of security solutions, like identity proofing and customer portals, make them an excellent new addition.”
The integration is now available form the ForgeRock Marketplace.
ForgeRock announced a $93.5 million funding round to fuel its continued expansion earlier in April.
