Auraya has announced its cloud-based, contact center voice biometrics solution EVA, which is underpinned by Amazon Connect, is now available on AWS Marketplace.

The EVA voice biometric service is designed to automate the identity verification process to enable the use of personalized self-services, as well as better conversations with agents. Customers using EVA will be able to use voice to verify themselves in the Interactive Voice Response system (IVR), as well as while talking to an agent.

At the same time, agents will use the platform’s control panel to check the verified status of callers, thus increasing overall security.

EVA also comes with various customization options to allow for the creation of a comprehensive fraud detection and prevention system via the AWS orchestration and provisioning tools, and was recently upgraded with new features and improved overall performance.

NYSS and Alcatraz partner to expand offering to the East Coast

Touchless biometric access control solutions firm Alcatraz partnered with New York Security Solutions (NYSS) to sell the firm’s Rock solution in the U.S. East Coast market.

NYSS reportedly counts more than 20,000 access-controlled points and 60,000 video devices deployed in more than 100 organizations.

Following the beginning of the partnership, the company will add Alcatraz Rock to its offering.

NYSS is a Managed Security Technology Provider (MSTP), meaning the company provides high-quality, outsourced monitoring and management of security devices and systems.

“At NYSS, we take pride in the effort we put into choosing a security product to recommend to our clients,” commented NYSS Vice President of Sales and Marketing Cody Flood.

“As technology geeks, we have been very impressed with the Alcatraz Rock platform and its ability to deliver touchless access control using artificial intelligence, 3D, and machine learning,” Flood added.

Alcatraz recently updated its Rock Platform to include a mask detection mode to help businesses comply with COVID-19 related government policies.
