Integrated Biometrics expands Arizona research facility

Adds interactive experience center
Integrated Biometrics expands Arizona research facility

Integrated Biometrics is expanding its longstanding research facility in Arizona, U.S.

The research facility – located in Chandler, Arizona – will grow its personnel by at least 50 percent, the biometrics technology company says, and will focus on “highly skilled” engineers working on biometric technology research and development during recruitment.

In addition, the facility will expand physical footprint by a quarter and a new experience center will feature IB products and partner technologies. Visitors can test and demonstrate biometric applications through interactive exhibits. IB says this approach will help the company support its growing technology portfolio, including infant identification systems and software that enables integrators to develop custom biometric tools.

“We are excited to continue our presence in Chandler and provide more space for our talented employees to continue pushing the company forward,” Reid Baker, research and development manager for IB, said.

“The City of Chandler’s Economic Development team has been a trusted partner over the years and provided valuable guidance as we considered our real estate options,” he continued. “Integrated Biometrics is excited to invest more resources in the Chandler community.”

Chandler mayor Kevin Hartke wished IB many more years of success and cited the company as an example of an “innovative company” adding “great job opportunities” to the city’s residents.
