New biometric products flood the marketplace

 

Here are some of the latest innovations available in the $7 billion biometrics market:

Hirsch Identive Fingerprint Readers
Model CR-BIO-MA110 is Hirsch’s latest fingerprint reader. This surface mounted fingerprint and smart card reader stores two fingerprint templates for each person and can cater up to 500 individuals with associated Wiegand numbers. It incorporates a 13.56MHz HID iCLASS 16bit (16K2 or 16K16) contactless reader, a 500dpi optical sensor, and has a verification time of less than one second. HID BioClass
HID iCLASS products provide the users with options for supporting multi-authentication of identity using 13.56MHz contactless smart card technology. Users can integrate contactless card presentation with fingerprint biometrics or use personal identification numbers (PINs).

Cansec Zodiac Link
Cansec’s Zodiac Link innovation is the company’s latest addition to their field-proven line of adept fingerprint readers. Zodiac Link has been incorporated with three new features including increased capacity from 250 users to 2,000 users, ability to link five readers while designating the entire user programming side to the Master, and just like the previous Zodiac 250, it can be used to directly control a door or be connected with any Wiegand-compatible access control panel. Rosslare Biometrics
Rosslare’s biometric innovation, which includes biometric PIN and prox readers/controllers and software, has the capacity to accommodate 500 users with two templates for each user fingerprint, card, and PIN.

The company’s AS-B01 software are associated with its CP-R26 Mifare card desktop programmer and likewise its BioTrax Biometric Fingerprint Enrollment Software for programming the master and user cards and as well as the fingerprint enrolment. KEYper Systems
KEYper Elite Series Electronic Key Management Systems uses Windows-based embedded controllers and semiconductors in order to control, catalog, and track critical electronic keys.
