Biometric job opportunity available at MITRE

MITRE is searching for a new Lead Biometrics Engineer at its Clarksburg, WV offices.

MITRE works in partnership with the U.S. government, applying systems engineering, advanced technology, and research and development solutions to address issues of critical national importance.

The organization currently manages four federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs) sponsored by the Department of Defense, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of Homeland Security.

Because FFRDCs are prohibited from competing with industry or manufacturing products, they are able to analyze technical questions with a high degree of objectivity, offering creative solutions to complex problems.

The Lead Biometrics Engineer at MITRE will provide biometrics, policy, and systems engineering support related to law enforcement and intelligence operations to key Department of Justice contacts.
