VoiceVault boasts expanded range of biometric deployment models

VoiceVault has announced that it now offers a complete range of voice biometric deployment models for private, public and hybrid cloud implementations, and the company says it’s the first to offer a range of this size.

“To be competitive, we need to be flexible,” Nik Stanbridge, VP Product Management said. “The varied range of cloud-based voice biometrics system deployment models is unsurpassed in the industry and is already paying dividends in meeting challenging customer demands for a flexible approach to system integration.”

According to the company, it now offers on-premise options, as either a standalone system of a managed service; hosting through third-party service providers; and as an embedded solution for hardware appliances and home automation.

Reported previously, VoiceVault, along with GEO Semiconductor and SpeechFX have launched Granta, a home automation solution, supporting voice detection, voice biometrics as well as gesture video analytics.

In addition, last year, the company announced that an unnamed major U.S. cable provider is using its system for authenticating its retail customers over the phone.

BiometricUpdate.com recently took a look an extended look at voice biometrics as a modality, including some early examples, as well as an exploration of potential developments and innovations. Read the full feature here.
