SpeechPro partners with Avaya, says voice biometrics platform helped ID ‘Hidden Cash Man’

SpeechPro has partnered with Avaya to make its voice biometric platform available on Avaya’s DevConnect Marketplace.

The company also recently announced in a blog post that its technology was used in an attempt to identify a mystery figure dropping envelopes stuffed with cash around San Francisco.

According to SpeechPro, its platform – VoiceKey – is an intelligent biometrics solution for call centers and interactive voice response and mobile applications. Avaya’s DevConnect MarketPlace includes third-party prodcuts that interoperate with Avaya’s technology.

“SpeechPro’s VoiceKey solution has undergone rigorous interoperability testing,” said Eric Rossman, vice president of developer relations for Avaya. “By working with companies like SpeechPro to ensure compatibility, Avaya customers can choose from hundreds of third-party applications and deploy them with confidence.”

Its new certification as a technology partner means that SpeechPro is eligible to submit products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab.

Reported previously, SpeechPro recently updated VoiceKey OnePass to include touchless identification as well as a static-prompted voice passphrase setting.
