Sensory voice biometric solutions support languages across 41 countries

Sensory announced that its voice biometric solutions support a wide range of languages across 41 countries, including Mandarin (2 billion speakers), Spanish (406 million speakers) and English (335 million speakers).

The company has developed many other languages for its speech recognition platforms including French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Russian, Arabic, Turkish, Swedish, and Portuguese.

According to Sensory, almost all of the languages it supports with its speech recognition solutions are also supported in its speaker verification technologies, such as Mandarin Chinese.

Many of its products offer support in multiple languages, including its voice control solution TrulyHandsfree, which is designed to be used with hands-free consumer applications.

Sensory’s team of speech experts and linguists will continue to expand the company’s language and country support, with Indian English, Polish, Greek, and Cantonese all being currently developed.

“We are committed to providing the most innovative global speech and speaker solutions for deployment in consumer electronic applications,” said Sensory CEO Todd Mozer. “The term ‘world-class’ truly defines our technology for the diversity of languages and international regions that it supports, and our continued investment in resources to develop and expand these language offerings.”

The announcement comes on the heels of the launch of Sensory’s latest mobile app, TrulySecure, which supports on-device biometric authentication using speaker verification and facial recognition.
