AGNITiO to participate in Biometrics in Global Mobile Commerce panel at Global Identity Summit

 

AGNITiO announced that its CEO Emilio Martinez will participate in a panel discussion entitled “Biometrics in Mobile Commerce” at the Global Identity Summit in Tampa, Florida on September 16 from 10:40 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. EST.

Held at the Tampa Convention Center, Martinez will join industry peers Fast Identity On-line Alliance executive director and co-founder Brett McDowell, BIO-key International VP of corporate development Jay Meier, and Samsung Electronics director of technology and strategy Steven Rahman.

The panel will address the use of different biometric technologies, including voice iD and fingerprint, and a secure multi-factor authentication method for mobile commerce transactions.

The panelists will also describe the various elements that comprise a trusted framework, and the challenges that are unique to biometrics, and the impact these technologies will have on consumers, commercial enterprises and government entities.

AGNITiO’s senior technical project manager, Anastasia Pavlovic, will deliver a presentation entitled “How Centralized Voice Databases are Helping Law Enforcement Agencies around the Globe” on September 17th

She will discuss voice biometrics and the use of passive detection to combat crime.
