This latest release offers a range of new features and capabilities, including being cloud-enabled, improved security and transparency, role-based access management, full audit trail, management of transfers, and updates and preparation of voter books.

“Security and transparency are key factors in large-scale projects such as national elections”, said Michiel van der Veen, CEO of GenKey. “We are proud of this new release of SPiRE, which includes state-of-the-art encryption and traceable transactions, protecting the privacy of voters and enhancing the transparency of elections.”

Previously reported, GenKey announced that its BioFinger SDK technology has received certification in the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Minutiae Interoperability Exchange Test.
