FPC and Precise Biometrics fingerprint technology in OPPO R9 and R9+ smartphones

Fingerprint Cards (FPC) and Precise Biometrics are providing the fingerprint technology for the new OPPO R9 and R9+ mobile devices.

OPPO launched R9 and R9+ smartphones today, which features FPC’s touch fingerprint sensor FPC1245 and Precise BioMatch Mobile software by Precise Biometrics.

Just last month, Fingerprint Cards introduced FPCLiveTouch, a security solution for fingerprint sensors that can identify and reject spoofing attempts (fake fingers) without requiring additional hardware and without impact on verification time.
