Norbain announced it has added several new Suprema and BioConnect biometric products to its line of access control products, including BioConnect Identity Platform, Suprema BioStation A2 and L2, and BioConnect TeamWorks.

The BioConnect Identity Platform enables the suite of Suprema biometric readers to integrate with the top access control systems around the globe, providing an opportunity for biometrics in both retrofit and legacy systems for access control

As the newest biometric terminals from Suprema, both Suprema BioStation A2 and BioStation L2 feature Suprema’s newest fingerprint algorithm and OP5 sensor.

BioStation A2 is a secure biometric product that offers high performance and reliability, while BioStation L2 is designed for all types of time-attendance applications as it combines the world’s best Suprema fingerprint algorithm with high performance and enhanced security features.

BioConnect TeamWorks is a cloud-based application that increases time and attendance, absence management, and payroll integrations.

The application gives executive staff visibility and insights into their workforce from any location and at any time, while the biometric integration provides identity assurance and visibility into hours worked.

“In the past, biometrics were perceived strictly as products for ‘high security’ environments, but we’re seeing use cases that stretch far beyond that, to provide identity assurance, security and convenience to markets such as education, data centres and in enterprise settings,” said BioConnect founder and CEO Rob Douglas. “Our partnership with Norbain facilitates great relationships with key accounts in these markets.”

BioConnect provides a line of biometric products, including face, eye, voice, heartbeat and fingerprint recognition.

Through its partnership with Suprema, BioConnect supports the implementation of Suprema’s devices and IP access control solutions with sales, consulting and technical support.

BioConnect, Suprema and Norbain will all be at IFSEC International 2016 at ExCeL London from June 21 through 23.
