Fingerprint Cards announces five new smartphone deployments

 

Fingerprint Cards announced five new smartphone deployments of its fingerprint sensors this past week.

The UMIDIGI Z1 and Z1 Pro and the OnePlus 5 each feature the FPC1245 fingerprint sensor which supports FPC 360Touch, FPC OneTouch, FPC TouchNroll, FPC EvoTouch and FPC MoveTouch.

The Meitu M8 and LG’s G6 Plus each feature the FPC1035 sensor which supports FPC 360Touch, FPC OneTouch, FPC TouchNroll, FPC EvoTouch and FPC QuickTouch.

June has been an active month for the Swedish biometrics company. They finalized the acquisition of California-based Delta ID, announced new collaborations with Arrow Electronics and Biel Crystal, extended its smartcard partnership with Kona I, revealed that touch sensor FPC1025 is featured in Microsoft’s Modern Keyboard with Fingerprint ID and that the company’s sensors are included in orders Zwipe has secured for its biometric payment card solution.
