Veridium announces new Authenticator App to move enterprises beyond tokens and passwords
Veridium has unveiled its new multi-factor biometric authentication app to replace the need for tokens and passwords.
The Veridium Authenticator App provides enrollment and authentication with face, native fingerprint, and Veridium 4 Fingers TouchlessID biometrics on iOS and Android devices, and features a new interface for an enhanced user experience. It integrates with popular platforms such as Microsoft Active Directory and any VPN that uses a RADIUS protocol, including Citrix StoreFront, NetScaler, or ShareFile.
“Enterprises consider two key factors when seeking a new security solution: ease-of-use and the dangers of overspending,” said Todd Shollenbarger, Chief Global Strategist of Veridium. “There is an industry need for strong authentication with simplicity without breaking the bank. Our Authenticator App provides customers all the security benefits in one solution, lowering total cost of ownership over traditional 2FA solutions all while making security a much more convenient process for IT and end users alike.”
The Authenticator App is available as a free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Veridium recently released research showing that a majority of organizations experiencing a data breach turn to biometrics for authentication, and the company’s authentication platform was recently selected by Swedish bank Nordea to biometrically secure employee accounts.
