Partnership brings BIO-key biometric locks to major retailers

 

A retail partnership with consumer technology products provider Aluratek will see BIO-key biometric and Bluetooth enabled padlocks and travel locks introduced at major retailers. Initial stocking orders for two models of BIO-key’s Fingerprint-Enabled Smart Padlocks and TSA-Approved Smart Luggage Locks have been placed at Best Buy and the Best Buy Online Store during the second quarter.

“We are excited to partner with BIO-key to bring their innovative use of biometric and Bluetooth technology in consumer padlocks to our retail customer base,” John Wolikow, CEO, Aluratek commented. “We are pleased to launch our relationship in Best Buy and look forward to expanding BIO-key’s retail footprint over the remainder of 2018.”

BIO-key recently showcased its line of biometric locks at Design Tokyo.
