ABN Amro Bank NV honored at Identiverse

Ping Identity announced that ABN Amro Bank NV was named the winner of its 2018 Customer Identity Excellence Awards Program in the “Security Revolutionary” category. The awards were announced at Identiverse, which took place last month in Boston.

ABN Amro Bank NV was recognized with the “Security Revolutionary” honor for replacing a homegrown solution with PingFederate to reduce custom coding and solve its challenges around securing PSD2 APIs. With PingFederate in place, ABN Amro has enabled API authentication—and smartly positioned itself to be ahead of the curve on PSD2.

“It’s exciting to honor organizations like ABN Amro Bank NV in our Customer Identity Excellence Awards program,” said Andre Durand, CEO of Ping Identity. “The company has set new benchmarks in improving its security processes to not only support employees, but also effectively serve its customers.”

Identiverse experienced a 27 percent growth in sponsors and exhibitors this year, with participation from organizations including Optiv, Microsoft, Google, IDMWORKS, KPMG, Auth0, Radiant Logic, and Tuebora.
