BIO-key exhibiting at Microsoft Ignite 2018

BIO-key announced that the company will be a sponsor and exhibitor at Microsoft Ignite 2018 later this month in Orlando, Florida. BIO-key will showcase its line of Windows Hello-qualified USB fingerprint scanners for Windows Hello and Windows Hello for Business, along with its ID Director for Windows and Microsoft Azure authentication solutions.

BIO-key was Microsoft’s Windows 10 for Business Launch partner and its USB fingerprint scanners have been tested and qualified by Microsoft to bear the Windows Hello-ready mark. At Ignite 2018, Microsoft will be demonstrating BIO-key’s devices for Windows Hello for Business in the Microsoft Security and Compliance showcase.

BIO-key will also be demonstrating its ID Director for Windows to allow organizations to offer portable biometric multi-factor authentication for retail, healthcare, call center and other roving workforces who share and move among devices.

“Enterprises have embraced BIO-key’s products for Windows 10 and Windows Hello for Business because they make an immediate impact on their operational efficiency, while allowing them to become compliant with growing multi-factor authentication mandates,” explained Jim Sullivan, BIO-key SVP Strategy and Business Development.

Margaret Arakawa, General Manager Windows and Devices, Microsoft Corp. added, “Microsoft is pleased about BIO-key’s high-quality biometric Windows Hello security device that works seamlessly with Windows Hello for Business, providing a more personal and secure authentication experience to enterprise users.”

A BIO-key share offering in August raised $2.1M. The company noted that it intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including working capital.
