BioConnect adds industry thought leader to leadership team

BioConnect announced that Julia Webb has joined the Toronto-based company as Vice President, Alliances, reporting to CEO and chairman Rob Douglas. Webb’s mission will be to accelerate go-to-market partnerships for the BioConnect mobile platform.

Webb was previously VP of sales and marketing at VoiceVault.

“Julia is a thought leader in the biometric identity space (and) has made a material impact on developing the biometric industry over the past 20 years,” said Rob Douglas, BioConnect CEO and chairman. “She is a great addition to our leadership team.”

“BioConnect is delivering on a vision to provide the ability for companies to offer a trusted identity to their customers and employees in a way that previously has not been possible,” added Webb. “It is an exciting time to join a passionate and innovative team as they experience increasing demand for the BioConnect platform.”
