ID R&D announces new contact center partner and executive appointment
ID R&D will provide multimodal biometric authentication for call-center customers of TEN DIGIT Communication’s TDC BRIDGE solution, the company has announced. In addition to the new partnership, ID R&D appointed Ilya Ozerets as the company’s new chief product officer.
TEN DIGIT describes TDC BRIDGE as an “Intelligent Messaging Platform” or virtual smartphone for business, tying together communications with customers by text, voice, link, and media sharing, with the related CRM and AI tools and company databases. Integrating ID R&D’s AI-based keystroke, facial liveness, and voice biometric technology allows the company to provide TDC BRIDGE users with a convenient and secure authentication experience, according to the announcement, including selfie verification for the text channel, in which personal information cannot be used as validation.
“Considering TEN DIGIT’s expansive market presence, ID R&D is thrilled to extend the reach of our zero-effort authentication and conversational interface to countless new users,” says ID R&D CEO Alexey Khitrov. “This integrated solution highlights both companies’ commitment to meet the changing expectations of tech-savvy customers by delivering easy authentication and enhanced communications without requiring changes in behavior or losing time in onerous authentication steps.”
TDC Bridge customers will be protected from facial spoofing and recorded or computer-generated voices with liveness detection.
ID R&D CTO Konstantin Simonchik told Biometric Update in a recent interview that the company uses a combination of deep neural networks and convolutional neural networks with boosting methods to perform anti-spoofing checks.
With the company’s profile growing it has also expanded its executive ranks. As CPO, former Mitek Systems employee Ozerets will be responsible for driving the development and growth of ID R&D’s product portfolio. He also brings experience in the startup domain, and with Wells Fargo.
“It’s an exhilarating time to join ID R&D as its innovative approach to zero-effort authentication is propelling rapid growth and adoption,” said ID R&D Chief Product Officer Ilya Ozerets. “With the biometrics market expected to reach nearly $60 billion by 2025, we have the opportunity to create a better and more secure user experience for any connected individual across the globe. I’m thrilled to be joining a stellar executive team and look forward to implementing a product strategy that showcases our technical depth and capabilities.”
ID R&D was also recently accepted into Microsoft’s IoT & AI Insider Labs program.
