NuData honored for its behavioral biometric tech in SC Media’s 30th anniversary awards

NuData Security, a Mastercard company, announced that its flagship product NuDetect was selected as a Most Critical Solution in the last 30 years in SC Media’s 30th Anniversary Awards.

As part of SC Media’s celebration of its 30th anniversary in the cybersecurity industry, the publication expanded its annual SC Awards to include several special categories honoring those who have shaped the industry and will serve to impact the future. Winners were decided by SC Media’s editorial team with the assistance of the SC Awards co-chairs.

“This prestigious award reinforces our belief that the best security doesn’t come from one bullet-proof layer but from the intelligent combination of various sophisticated layers that combine behavioral biometrics, FIDO standards and EMV 3DS, creating a safer digital environment that goes beyond credentials,” said Michel Giasson, NuData Security CEO.

“Over the last three decades, the winners of our 30th Anniversary Awards have left an indelible imprint on the cybersecurity industry through their tireless work and visionary leadership,” added Illena Armstrong, VP editorial at SC Media. “NuData has most assuredly earned this honor for its continued dedication to protecting enterprises from today’s sophisticated threats.”

Mastercard recently reached a deal with United Arab Emirates-based telecom operator du to explore how the NuDetect behavioral biometrics technology can be used to deliver safe, seamless payments through users’ smartphones across the Middle East and Africa.
