Innovatrics launches platform to intelligently link biometric technologies

Innovatrics has announced the launch of a new Biometric Ecosystem platform to intelligently link independent multimodal technologies and customer-based services in a highly reliable network.

Components of the platform include a client-side ID document capture and verified enrollment system, central biometric storage and matching, and real-time facial recognition. The company says system integrators ad end users can use it to build powerful identity management applications for government, law enforcement, and enterprise use.

The platform is intended to address the disjointed approach organizations often resort to when implementing biometrics. To reach the potential of these innovations, Innovatrics says better onboarding, more secure registration in government systems, and more trustworthy facial recognition systems are needed.

“Although we’re very much focused on technology, Innovatrics is not only about its core products,” explained Peter Martis, Innovatrics Business Development Director, at the recently concluded BioCon Innovatrics Partner Conference. “We listen and care about our partners and customers—that is how our biometric ecosystem came into existence. The technology was already there; it was a matter of connecting the dots, making our products essentially talk to each other to build a system which is so much more effective and powerful because each solution is smartly implemented together to maximize profitability and efficiency.”

Innovatrics’ ABIS, Digital Onboarding Toolkit (DOT), and Smartface are included in the Biometric Ecosystem product, and the company also provides training and educational materials, consultation, and remote and onsite support. The company recently updated its ABIS system with its latest-generation algorithms and new business modules.
