Jumio, Nice, Verint, Authenteq recognized for identity solutions
Several biometrics companies have announced awards or recognition for their efforts in fraud prevention and enterprise communications technologies.
Jumio has been named Leader in Authentication and Most Innovative in Biometrics from the Cyber Defense Global Awards.
Jumio Vice President of Global Customer Success Ervinna Lim won a Women in Cybersecurity award for her accomplishments in the industry. Lim leads customer-facing teams in North America, Latin America, the EMEA and APAC regions, and her team has more than tripled over the past year. Jumio credits her with helping the business grow in Latin America and Asia-Pacific by more than four times over the past two years.
“The impact of Ervinna’s contributions are widespread, as she is helping Jumio change the way countries around the world fight fraud by establishing new standards for digital identity verification in the face of a turbulent fraud landscape,” said Robert Prigge, Jumio president.
The awards, presented by Cyber Defense Magazine, honored the company’s Jumio Authentication, which leverages ZoOm 3D Face Login with TrueLiveness Detection from FaceTec, and was recently named a Silver Winner at the 2019 Golden Bridge Awards.

Authenteq
The latest “Market Guide for Identity Proofing and Corroboration” report from Gartner recognizes Authenteq as a ‘Representative Vendor.’ Gartner reports that high confidence in customer identity continues to be imperative, and a number of capabilities must be orchestrated to meet organizations’ fraud prevention and risk tolerance needs.
“Representative Vendors were selected on the basis of one or both of the following: frequent inquiry by Gartner clients about that vendor for identity proofing use cases, vendor offers capabilities supporting identity proofing and corroboration in a way that is unique, innovative and/or demonstrates a forward-looking product strategy,” according to the report.
Autheteq says its Automated Identity Verification and Authentication portfolio provides exactly the “tools that enable orchestration of multiple vendors and capabilities, allowing frictionless workflows to be created and data to be combined into a single unified, rather than disparate, process” recommended in the report.
