The 12th FIDO Tokyo Seminar will be held in person under the theme: “Effectiveness of Passkeys as a Countermeasure Against Phishing and the Latest Trends.”

Masanori Kusunoki, Director-General of the Digital Social Common Functions Group at the Digital Agency of Japan will be the keynote speaker, sharing insights on digital identity, the importance of identity verification and authentication, and the latest initiatives led by the Digital Agency.

The seminar will also feature updates on the current status of passkey support by major platform providers, the activities of the FIDO Alliance and FIDO Japan Working Group, and presentations from member companies and government agencies—both domestic and international—on their efforts to implement and promote passkeys.
