iMARS

MARS is a European Union project to develop technology to detect identity document fraud and image manipulation intended to fool biometric border control systems. The program involves academics, enterprises and government agencies, coordinated by Idemia, and its name is an acronym for “image manipulation attack resolving solutions.” The Horizon 2020-funded program specifically targets biometric image morphing to improve the robustness of document verification and fraud detection.
