Neurotechnology announces new large-scale multi-biometric technology and updates existing SDKs

 

Neurotechnology, a Lithuanian-based provider of biometric identification, object recognition and computer vision technologies has just announced the release of its new MegaMatcher 4.4 multi-biometric technology for large-scale applications.

MegaMatcher 4.4 is Neurotechnology’s latest iteration of its existing MegaMatcher line. According to the company, this technology is used in a wide variety of biometric solutions worldwide for national-scale projects. The MegaMatcher fingerprint recognition alorithm is NIST MINEX-compliant for use in U.S. Government Personal Identity Verification (PIV) program fingerprint recognition applications.

Neurotechnology has also announced updates to its entire line of biometric Software Development Kits (SDKs) for fingerprint, iris, voice, face and multi-biometric identification.

Product updates include: VeriFinger 6.6 for fingerprint identification, VerisSpeak 1.2 for voice identification, VeriLook 5.3 for facial identification and VeriEye 2.6 for iris identification.

MegaMatcher 4.4 includes all of these latest individual biometric algorithms, plus palmprint identification.

“We are continuously working on improving our technologies and products,” Irmantas Naujikas, director of business development for Neurotechnology said. “These latest updates include features and improvements that will help our customers use out technologies in a wider range of applications and implement them more quickly and easily.”

As reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, SkyBiometry was recently launched as a spin-off of Neurotechnology.
