ID World International Congress debuts in Frankfurt

The 11th ID World International Congress event took place last week in its new home of Frankfurt, Germany.

More than 400 experts from 51 countries gathered to discuss auto ID related challenges and opportunities.

Almost half of the participants came from Europe and close to 20 percent from Asia, with others attending from the Middle East, Africa and the Americas.

Many of the sessions focused on key topics involved in applications and deployment of automatic identification technology, and the first keynote was held by Mrs. Rogall-Grothe, State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Germany.

The show also included an exhibit hall, offering a mix of technologies showcased by international exhibitors and a chance to network.

Starting next year, ID World International Congress will be co-located with Euro ID, Germany’s international exhibition for automatic identification.

ID World International Congress and Euro ID 2013 will take place from November 5-7, 2013, in the exhibition grounds of Messe Frankfurt, Germany.

ID World will continue to host other events next year including Abu Dhabi for the sixth annual EMEA Summit and Rio de Janeiro for the third annual Americas Summit.
