Human Recognition Systems appoints new members to its board

Human Recognition Systems has just appointed two new members to its board: Nigel Seddon, the company’s Finance Director, and Simon Loveridge from Capital Values Group.

Seddon joined Human Recognition Systems as Finance Director earlier this year, and has now been appointed to the board with effect of May 2013. According to the company, Seddon has a varied background in the chemicals industry, as well as other international roles and work with startup SMEs.

“Clearly the HRS business is excellent at what it does, and in a fast developing marketplace there are fantastic opportunities to scale the business profitably,” Seddon said. “I am really looking forward to joining the HRS team at this exciting time, to help the business to make the most of its potential.”

Simon Loveridge, the CFO of the Capital Values Group, has also been appointed to the board as non-executive director, following the recent departure of Simon Hodge from the company’s board.

Loveridge is a qualified accountant and has worked with Capital Values Group for over two years. His background is primarily in real estate, prior to joining Capital Values Group Simon worked at Unite Group PLC in senior roles in fund management and corporate development.

Reported previously, in January 2013, HRS announced the successful deployment of its identity registration platform, MTrust, for a new education sector client.

The company also recently secured new contracts for the London Olympic Park and Athletes’ Village.
