VoiceTrust gets United Bank deployment for voice biometric authentication

VoiceTrust has been selected by the United Bank Limited for the delivery of voice biometric solutions for customer authentication.

Specifically, UBL will deploy VoiceTrust’s VTAssure platform to verify its customers, government employees and pensioners, through voice biometric analysis.

“We are pleased to receive this opportunity to expand the impact voice biometrics has on security and customer experience in the global financial sector,” Tariq Habib, CEO of VoiceTrust said. “Our voice biometrics solutions help organizations such as UBL deliver the optimal balance between security, convenience and cost savings.”

In addition to deploying the VTAssure platform, the bank will also use VoiceTrust’s Proof-of-Life, another voice biometrics solution.

Reported previously, last year, VoiceTrust announced a few major new customers and pilot projects in North America, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

In August 2013, the company brought Peter Hauser on board as the company’s new Chief Commercial Officer.
