Fonetic, Tango Networks bring mobility to voice biometrics and compliance recording

Fonetic announced it has partnered with business mobility firm Tango Networks to provide a comprehensive voice biometrics and compliance recording solution for global trading floors.

As a result of the partnership, Fonetic will combine its speech analytics solution with Tango Networks’ mobile recording application to enable secure transactions, share important information, and securely record customer relations calls over a mobile phone.

“Any compliance program is only as strong as its weakest link; and for too long mobile devices have been a compliance black hole on the trading floor,” said Simon Richards, CEO of Fonetic USA. “By combining mobility with a proven linguistics voice platform, global banks can capture, analyse and ultimately improve behaviors and cultures on their trading floors.”

Both Fonetic and Tango Networks’ on-premise solutions are compatible with all call-recording systems, relieving compliance departments of having to concentrate on each individual scenario, and instead, allow them to simply oversee the policy.

With Tango Networks’ policy management system, the enterprise IT staff is able to decide when and who to record.

The company’s advance category and topic database searching function enables Fonetic to locate the calls where the traders have left out words crucial to closing a legal transaction and notify compliance teams accordingly.

Fonetic’s voice management solution, which monitors up to 79 different languages and dialects, captures, indexes, analyzes and extracts important information from all interactions, whether it is voice, email or chat.

As a result, compliance officers are able to locate specific, relevant communications regarding any trade.
