FST Biometrics granted factory certification from Lenel Systems, joins OpenAccess Alliance Program

FST Biometrics announced it has been granted factory certification from Lenel Systems International, and has become a member of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.

FST Biometrics offers a range of products, including IMID Access, IMID Digital Doorman and IMID Solo, which use a combination of biometric and analytic technologies that include facial recognition, behavior analysis and voice recognition.

FST Biometrics’ In Motion Identification Access software can be used in combination with Lenel’s OnGuard access control system to provide verified users with seamless and rapid access. By completing the necessary Lenal factory testing, FST Biometrics’ interface has now been validated to be used with Lenel’s OnGuard system.

According to the Lenel website, OnGuard is a “open platform security system integrates seamlessly with OnGuard video, intrusion, access and fire products and offers remote access and management functionality.”

“FST’s biometric access solution combines facial recognition and behavioral analytics and is able to identify authorized individuals in motion without the need to stop or slow down,” said Gidon Lissai, director of strategic alliances at Lenel. “We look forward to FST Biometrics’ continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.”

“FST Biometrics is very pleased to have received Lenel factory certification,” said Shahar Belkin, FST chief technology officer. “The ability to integrate our In Motion Identificatio technology into the OnGuard access control system will expand our reach and make our solutions seamless to integrate and available to more end users who seek seamless access experience along with ultimate security.”

In April, FST21 rebranded to FST Biometrics in an effort to further concentrate its efforts on its In Motion Identification technology.
