IdentityX releases mobile authentication app designed for Salesforce users

IdentityX announced it is now offering a mobile authentication app designed for Salesforce users.

Built on the Infinity Platform, IdentityX’s universal authentication platform for mobile devices, the app was developed in collaboration with one of IdentityX’s integration partners.

The app enables users to choose one or more authentication factors including passwords, PINs, fingerprints, and voice and facial recognition, depending on what level of security they want.

“The development of this mobile authentication app for Salesforce.com is an example of how our integration partners can innovate and how the Infinity Platform enables that innovation,” said Conor White, president of IdentityX. “Salesforce.com users now have a much more flexible solution for mobile authentication that gives them the broadest array of authentication factors available on the market today.

“Our collaboration with our partner on the development and delivery of this app provides shareholder value for both companies while future-proofing users from the myriad of changes happening in the market today as it pertains to mobile authentication.”

The app is currently compatible with fingerprint-enabled Windows devices and Android-based devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S5. It will also be able to be used with iOS 8 when the OS is released in late September.

Other than fingerprints, the app also supports voice and facial recognition as well as passwords and PINs.
